The Planned Tournament Structure

(If/When Event is Confirmed)

Projected Prize Pool (Subject to Confirmation)

If the live stadium event is confirmed at the planned scale, we are currently projecting a total prize pool of up to $20,000,000, with a target of $10,000,000 allocated to the championship-winning team.

The final prize pool, payout structure, and number of awarded places will be confirmed and published in the Official Tournament Rules once all sponsors and partners are locked. All amounts are estimates only and subject to change, and all prizing remains subject to final legal review and approval.

Team Format

5-player teams

  • 1 Team Leader playing live in the stadium
  • 4 Teammates playing remotely over the internet

Every team gets a unique Team Invite Code + link that tracks:

  • Player sign-ups
  • Merch / ticket sales
  • Other SEA purchases tied to that team

These invite code stats power our Influencer Wildcards at every stage except the Final.

Team Earnings

Teams earn 10% commission on all sales made using their Team Invite Code.

This includes purchases of Backer Pass NFTs, merch, tickets, and other SEA products. Teams can use their invite code to build a community, support the event, and earn rewards based on their influence and reach.

Advancement Logic (Core Rule)

In every stage before the Final, for each big match:

Top 30,000 teams by in-game score advance automatically.

From the remaining teams in that same match, the Top 2,500 "Influencer Wildcard" teams (based on invite code-driven sign-ups and sales) also advance.

A Wildcard can be dead last on the scoreboard and still move on if their invite code performance ranks in the top 2,500 of the non-qualifiers. That's where social reach and community-building matter.

Each big match starts with 65,000 teams, and 32,500 advance (30,000 by score + 2,500 by influence).

Day 1–2 — Qualifiers (16 Matches)

  • 16 total Qualifier matches (8 on Day 1, 8 on Day 2).
  • Each match is a single massive battle with up to 65,000 teams all playing at the same time in the same scoring environment.
  • A team plays one Qualifier match at a time.
  • If they don't advance, they can buy into another Qualifier match (if seats are available) and try again.

From each Qualifier match:

  • • Top 30,000 teams by score advance automatically.
  • • From the remaining 35,000 teams, the Top 2,500 by invite code influence advance as Influencer Wildcards.
  • • Total advancing per Qualifier match: 32,500 teams.

Across 16 Qualifier matches, that sends 520,000 teams into the Proving Ground.

Day 3–4 — Proving Ground (8 Matches, 2-Day Total)

Proving Ground is the stress test: game skill + consistency + influence.

  • Qualifier survivors are reseeded into 8 Proving Ground matches.
  • Each Proving Ground match starts with 65,000 teams.
  • Every team in a Proving Ground match plays twice:
    • • Match 1 on Day 3
    • • Match 2 on Day 4
  • A team's combined 2-day total score in that Proving Ground match decides their ranking.

From each Proving Ground match:

  • • Top 30,000 teams by combined score advance automatically.
  • • From the rest, the Top 2,500 by invite code influence advance as Wildcards.
  • • 32,500 teams advance from each Proving Ground match → 260,000 total teams go to Finals Day.

Day 5 — Finals Day

Finals Day is one continuous esports spectacle: Quarter Finals → Semi-Finals → Grand Final → Closing Ceremony.

We keep the same "giant match" style—no 1v1 brackets, just massive fields where points decide who lives.

Quarter Finals — 4 Matches

  • The 260,000 Proving Ground survivors are reseeded into 4 Quarter Final matches.
  • Each Quarter Final match starts with 65,000 teams in one big battle.
  • Every team plays one Quarter Final match.

From each Quarter Final match:

  • • Top 30,000 teams by score advance automatically.
  • • From the remaining 35,000, the Top 2,500 by invite code influence advance as Wildcards.
  • • 32,500 teams advance from each match → 130,000 teams total advance to Semi-Finals.

Semi-Finals — 2 Matches

  • The 130,000 Quarter Final survivors are reshuffled into 2 Semi-Final matches.
  • Each Semi-Final starts with 65,000 teams.
  • Each team plays one Semi-Final match.

From each Semi-Final match:

  • • Top 30,000 teams by score advance automatically.
  • • From the remaining 35,000, the Top 2,500 by invite code influence advance as Wildcards.
  • • 32,500 teams advance from each → 65,000 teams reach the Grand Final.

Grand Final — 1 Match (Score-Only)

  • All 65,000 Finalist teams battle at once in one last massive Finals match.
  • No Wildcards. No invite code advantages.
  • Team Invite Codes can still exist for fan engagement and rewards, but they do not affect standings.
  • Final standings, trophies, and prizing are decided purely by in-game score in this last match.

Then:

  • Closing Ceremony
  • • Crown the SEA Champions.
  • • MVP / highlight awards.
  • • Special recognition for Top Influencer Teams (invite code champions) over the whole tournament.
